    Will splash mountain be open in January and February 2023?

    I'm excited to help you plan your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort! You're going to have a fantastic vacation exploring the "Most Magical Place on Earth." The Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration is still in full swing, which means that you'll be able to enjoy beautiful EARidescent decorations, exclusive merchandise, and anniversary entertainment during your trip!

    Splash Mountain is getting ready for a major transformation, where the attraction will be refreshed and re-themed to welcome Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in late 2024. I can't wait for Tiana and her friends to have their own attraction at Walt Disney World Resort! While we know that the refurbishment will be starting soon, an official date for the start of this refurbishment hasn't yet been released.

    So far, Park Hours and attraction hours have been released through the middle of January, and based on those hours, Splash Mountain looks like it will be open for the beginning and middle of January, but Park Hours and attraction refurbishments can always change. I recommend that you keep an eye on the "Closed for Refurbishment" list, located at the bottom of the Park Hours schedule, for updates about enjoying Splash Mountain in January and February. Also, be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and announcements about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and everything you can enjoy during your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
