Since splash mountain is closed forever, will we still be able to meet brer fox and get splash mountain merch? I loved brer fox even tho i never saw the movie that shall not be named

How do you do, Navi? Really nice to meet you here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

If you are like me and my family, you’ve had a lot of #DisneyMagicMoments singing and splashing along with Br’er Rabbit and his nemesis, Br’er Fox, on the Splash Mountain attraction. I’m thrilled that fresh concepts and inclusive storylines will bring new magic to Disney Parks fans in the future. But I’m also happy to let you know that a timeline has not yet been set for the closing of this classic attraction. So your laughing place will still be there in Critter Country when the Disneyland Resort begins its phased reopening!

Character experiences and merchandise availability are often refreshed with new and exciting offerings. We don’t yet know if Br’er Fox will be returning to beguile his fans. I recommend keeping an eye on the entertainment and character schedules in the Disneyland app for the latest opportunities to catch a glimpse of your favorite Disney characters. If there is a particular piece of merchandise you are interested in, please contact Merchandise Guest Services for information. You may write them an email or call (877) 560-6477. Also, keep an eye on the shopDisney and Shop Disney Parks websites. Merchandise inventory is updated daily.

Though Splash Mountain has been a favorite attraction of my family for a long time, the announcement of the upcoming reimagining of Splash Mountain into an attraction themed after the Disney film “The Princess and the Frog” has generated a lot of excitement in our home. Tiana is one of our favorite Disney princesses. We’ve cruised multiple times aboard the Disney Wonder so we could enjoy delicious New Orleans-inspired cuisine in Tiana’s Place. Now, we are looking forward to going down the bayou sometime in the future to celebrate Mardis Gras with Tiana, Louis, and all the gang. And, mm-mm, I can smell the aroma of the beignets from the Mint Julep Bar now!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Navi. We hope to hear from you again soon should you have any more questions.
