Hi, Jennifer!
Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited to hEAR that you will be celebrating your daughter's birthday at the
Walt Disney World Resort, and it would be my pleasure to help you add a little extra pixie dust to her special day!
I think that
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is a great choice any time, but especially when you are celebrating a special occasion. My family and I attended this show a few years ago to celebrate my birthday, and we all had a wonderful time. The bountiful Polynesian feast was delicious, and the entertainment was top-notch. The fire dancers, in particular, were incredible! There is even a point during the show when the Cast will recognize guests who are celebrating a special occasion!
In addition to this magical moment during the show, I would also recommend
having a birthday cake delivered for your daughter. Mickey Mouse Celebration specialty cakes can be pre-ordered and delivered to many restaurants throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. I took a look at the list of participating locations, and Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is currently one of the participating locations.
I would also recommend contacting the Dream Makers at
Disney Floral & Gifts. Disney Floral & Gifts offers a wide selection of gift items that can be delivered throughout the Walt Disney World Resort, and if you don't see exactly what you had in mind, simply contact a Dream Maker. Chances are if you can dream it, they can do it! I'm sure they could help you create a Polynesian princess-themed birthday gift complete with a floral lei for your evening at Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show.
Don't forget to purchase
Memory Maker before your trip so that you will have unlimited downloads of all of your
Disney PhotoPass Service pictures. I'm sure the birthday girl would love to have those photos to relive all of her magical memories for yEARs to come!
Wishing your daughter a happy birthday and all of you a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Samantha
