    We are going to be going to the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show in September. I was wondering how much time it will take to use the monorail to and from MK to Polynesian to allow enough time to get to the show on time? Thanks

    Hi there Jamee,

    The Walt Disney World Monorail System is a fast and easy way to travel around the Magic Kingdom area.  From the main gates of the park, it should take less than 15 minutes to board the monorail and arrive at Disney's Polynesian Resort which will be "Stop #3" on your trip from the Magic Kingdom.  Be sure you take the "Resort" Monorail.  Once you arrive at the Polynesian Resort, you will need to make your way downstairs and outside to Luau Cove which will take another 10 minutes or so.

    You can also take the boat launch/ water taxi from the Magic Kingdom.  The boat will transport you across the Seven Seas Lagoon making a stop at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort, before docking at The Polynesian.  Once at the Polynesian Boat dock, you will actually be just steps away from Luau Cove so this method may save you some time and walking!
