Hi Jennifer,
What a wonderful way to begin your magical vacation!
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show is loads of fun for the entire family.
The dinner and show last approximately two hours and I would recommend arriving about 30-45 minutes early. As mentioned on the official page, it is recommended that you arrive 40 minutes early if you are doing the same-day box office pick up. However, you can pick up your tickets prior to that at any Walt Disney World Resort hotel at the concierge desk. By doing this ahead of time, you could arrive closer to the 30 minute mark and not have to worry about standing in any lines for ticket pick up. To get there from Disney's Beach Club, you will want to leave your resort no later than 3:45 as transportation from resort to resort could take up to an hour. The best route would be to take the bus to Magic Kingdom, then transfer to the Resort Monorail and get off at the second stop, Disney's Polynesian Resort. It is possible that it might not take an hour, but you don't want to be rushed, especially when you need to make a transfer. Even if you get there a little early, you could walk around the resort and take in the unique sites and sounds of this beautifully themed hotel.
In addition to the wonderful and delicious island flavors, there are kid-friendly options such as baked chicken nuggets, cheese pizza or fish. Keep in mind that menu items could change without notice, but they will usually have several options to choose from.
Aloha,
~Allison L
