Just spent 2 hours online and waiting on hold to book Candlelight processional dining package. When my fast pass window opens, will it take that long to get a FastPass? I was set up and ready to go at 7AM but couldn’t get past 3 choices of time.

Hello Kathy and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.

Congratulations on planning a fabulous upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort soon. Your FastPass+ selection day will be here before you know it, and you know the importance of getting the experiences that are on your must-do list. There are a few things you can do to prepare in advance so everything goes smoothly on your selection day. Now is the time to make sure everyone in your travel party is connected to your “My Family and Friends List” in My Disney Experience. If someone manages their own account and you are not connected, just send them an invitation to connect to get started. Once they accept, you will be all set. Next, you will also want to make sure that everyone has a valid theme park admission ticket connected to their My Disney Experience account. You will not be able to select FastPass+ experiences in advance for anyone who does not have a prepaid admission ticket.

Any guest to a Disney Theme Park can make FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance of their arrival. Any guest staying at a select Disney Resort Hotel can make their selections 60 days in advance for the entire length of their trip. Your selection window will open at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time. I recently made FastPass+ selections for an upcoming trip and I signed into My Disney Experience about 10 minutes before 7:00 a.m. just to make sure I was logged in and ready to go. You can only make FastPass+ selections online or in the mobile app. I would suggest making your selections for the most popular or newest attractions first before they have all been distributed.Good luck with your planning and if you run into any technical issues contact the help center at (407) 939-4357.

    See ya real soon,
