If i spent the day at Animal Kingdom would i make it to Mickeys Backyard BBQ in time if i left at 5pm when the park closes or would i have to leave ealier? Also how do i get there from the park?

Hi Rebecca, You'd be cutting it close.

I'd plan on leaving the Animal Kingdom by 4:45 instead. Mickey's Backyard BBQ is open seating. This essentially means, "first come, first served". You'll want to be there around 5:45 for a 6:30 show. You should plan on giving yourself an hour from when you leave the Animal Kingdom to when you want to arrive at Fort Wilderness. This is because buses come approximately every 20 minutes and you never know if you just missed one (so you'll be waiting a while), or if one is coming around the bend (so you'll be ahead of schedule). The lines for the buses get especially long at Park closing time, which means you could end up waiting for a second bus. It's better to leave a little earlier and not feel stressed and rushed. If you end up arriving early, you can explore Fort Wilderness while you're waiting for the show.

Hope this helps and enjoy your vacation,
