We are spending 2 weeks over Christmas staying at the all star resort with a 3yo and a 1yo,I was just wondering if there was an indoor pool we could use or if the outdoor pools will be warm enough? Im not sure what the weather is like at Christmas

    Hi Lauren,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so excited to help you start planning your Christmas visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Every pool at Walt Disney World -- from the water parks to the resorts, including All-Star Movies, Music and Sports -- is heated year-round to a comfortable 82 degrees Fahrenheit (about 28 degrees Celsius). The weather, of course, can vary but is normally warm and mild in December. We spent Christmas at Port Orleans French Quarter this year. The temperature was in the 70s (21 to 26 C) and many guests were using the Doubloon Lagoon pool comfortably.

You will find lots of special activities for families during the holidays. Your little ones may enjoy the Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom, the gingerbread creations in several of the resort hotels and more. If you want other ideas, Lauren, check out the Planning Guide for Preschool Kids and Little Ones.

Please let us know if you have other questions about Walt Disney World during the holidays. We are happy to share our thoughts on the best dining, shopping, rides and more. Enjoy!
