I am spending two nights and a full day at the Polynesian Resort this summer. I want to experience as many of this resort's activities, including bars, as possible. Can you tell me what the "must-do's" of the Polynesian Resort are?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Emily! We love seeing you here are so happy to answer your questions and help you plan your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is truly a tropical oasis! One of my must-do stops on any Walt Disney World Resort vacation is a visit to Tambu Lounge! Drinking a Lapu Lapu out of a real pineapple just screams vacation to me! Another fun and immersive option is Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto! Make sure to check out this spot for tiki-inspired drinks and fun anytime after its opening time of 4 pm! If you plan on spending some time by the pool, and I suggest you do, then you can visit Barefoot Pool Bar! Did you know that you can also rent your very own private oasis patio? Just see a friendly Cast Member at your Lobby Concierge for reservations. Need a Dole-Whip fix? Not a problem-Pineapple Lanai has you covered!

When it comes to recreation, might I suggest celebrating Polynesian culture with Hula Dance Lessons in the resort lobby at 3:45 pm or the Torch Lighting Ceremony Great Ceremonial House Lawn at 6 pm. Both of these activities are complimentary, require no registration and run Tuesdays through Saturdays- subject to change. When you check-in to your Disney Resort hotel, you should be given a Recreation Guide with additional activities and times.

There are so many great things to see and do at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort that I have run out of room to add them! My favourite dining experience is dinner at ‘Ohana, which I strongly suggest but you can also attend your very own Luau with Disney’s Spirit of Aloha Show!

I hope you have a magical time!
