Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Amber. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Yay!
I love that you've booked a 1-night stay with a view of the savanna at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village. My family did the same a few years ago and even though it was a short stay, it was super magical and even a bit
wild! I certainly understand why you'd like to maximize your time there, and I can tell you from personal experience that eating breakfast on the balcony that overlooks the savanna is the very best way to start the day! Swoon. Unfortunately, in-room dining is not currently offered at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, but not to fret! You have a few options to make your breakfast-on-the-balcony dreams come true. The most convenient option would be to stop at
Sanaa to grab breakfast to-go. This must-visit dining location is a casual quick-service option for breakfast and features made-to-order entrées and lots of grab-and-go items too (the banana bread is SO good!). Another option requires a bit of a walk, but at
The Mara at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, you can place your
Mobile Food and Beverage Order before you head over and then grab it to go when you get there!
One of my favorite things about Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is that there are so many recreational AND educational experiences available throughout the resort. As Guests of the hotel and just Guests visiting for a dining reservation (at Sanaa, of course!) my kids have learned so much from the incredible African Cultural Representatives there. They're the best! Be sure to check out the recreational offerings when you arrive.
I hope this was helpful, Amber. Please let us know if you have any other questions about the Walt Disney World Resort! We'd love to help you plan a magical visit.
Ashley
