We will be spending NYE at Disney World and hoped to spend the day at the MK. We are staying on property and have made a reservation at The Contemporary for dinner. Will we be able to leave for dinner and return if the park reaches capacity and closes?

    Hi Connie!

Unfortunately, the answer to that question is "no".  If the park reaches capacity, then it is closed to everybody.  If you are staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel then you are guaranteed access to one theme park, but it's not necessarily (and almost never) the Magic Kingdom.  New Year's Eve is a very crowded night at Walt Disney World; there's a good chance the Magic Kingdom will indeed close to capacity sometime that day.

Good luck and write back if you have any more questions!
