We are spending 16 nights at Old Key West in August 2011, and for the first time are staying at WDW resort and using the deluxe dining package. We are flying in from England and I am worried about the dress code at some of the restaurants. Should we worry

    Hi Diane,

Wow, 16 days in the happiest place on earth.  You must be very exciting.  You should not worry too much about the dress code.  Everyone at WDW is on vacation and it is not unusual to see guests at signature restaurants in shorts or capri pants.  I copied these dress code guideline from the California Grill webpage.  It is a good guideline to follow for all the signature dining restaurants.

    Dress Code Guidelines:

Men: Khakis, slacks, jeans, dress shorts, collared shirts.  Sports coats are optional.
Ladies:  Capris, skirts, dresses, jeans, dress shorts.
Not permitted in dining room: Tank tops, swimwear, hats for gentleman, cut offs, or torn clothing.  While T-shirts are now allowed, the policy remains that T-shirts with offensive language or graphics are not acceptable.

Be sure to check out the Disney World Dining site.  You can navigate through the varies restaurants and double check their dress codes.

Overall, Walt Disney World is casual but neat.  You have nothing to worry about.

    Thanks for the question,
