Hi Bianca!
While some people spend no time at their resort, others prefer to really soak in Disney luxury. I like the best of both worlds so Disney's Moderate Resorts are a perfect fit. My favorite of all the moderate resorts is Port Orleans-Riverside. The theme at this resort is meticulously carried out in every aspect, when touring the resort you will really feel as if you have stepped into the bayou. There are lots of amenities and activities that make it feel like a Deluxe Resort, but with a much smaller price tag. Try taking a carriage ride through the resort, definitely a fun relaxing way to rest from a day at the parks. Another perk is that since this is the sister resort of Port Orleans French Quarter you are also able to use any amenities there. While you're there you must have the beignets, you will think you are in Cafe' Du Monde!
I would also consider checking out Disney's newest Value Resort Art of Animation, which consists of mostly family suites, but The Little Mermaid section is standard guest rooms and will definitely fit your budget. Although not as relaxing as Port Orleans, this resort just screams Disney and has so much to look at you just don't know where to put your eyes first! This resort is quite popular so it may be difficult to get a reservation on short notice, so I would definitely check out POP Century as an alternative which is my next favorite Value Resort. The two resorts are connect by a bridge so you can easily hop over to check out Art of Animation.
You've picked a really great time to go because right now Disney is offering spring discounts where you can save 15% to 30% off your resort. Check out the
special offers page for more information about how you can save money on your upcoming trip. Hope this helps!
