We're spending a night at Pop Century before moving into the cabins at Fort Wilderness. How long will it take us to get to Fort Wilderness? We'll be using Disney Transportation. Will Disney transfer our luggage between resorts? Thanks

    Hi Miriam,

Yes, Disney will take care of transferring your luggage for you. You'll just need to pack it up and leave it with Bell Services. Ask them to send it over to the Fort Wilderness Cabins. At that point, you can actually head out and enjoy the day in a park if you'd like, since check out time is 11:00am and check in is not until after 3:00pm.

Since buses don't travel from resort to resort, you'll need to either head to Downtown Disney or a park and then transfer to a Fort Wilderness bus. If you go to the Magic Kingdom, you can hop on a ferry boat and ride that over to the Fort after check in time. Otherwise, from any other park, simply head to the Fort Wilderness bus stop and go from there.

You should always give yourself about an hour when traveling from resort to park. This takes into account that the buses come approximately every 20 minutes and you never know if you just missed one or if one is coming around the bend.

Wishing you a wonderful vacation! Please let me know if I can help you further,

    Kaylene
