Hi! How much spending money should two teenage girls have for seven days? We are going to spend a lot of one day at Downtown Disney and we will be visiting all four parks. This will be our first time at Disney World, so what would be a good amount? Thanks!

    Hi Marlee,

This is a question that will likely elicit many different answers.  Budgeting for vacation souvenirs is a very personal topic, but I'm happy to share my opinion as I often travel with teens to Walt Disney World.

Since the girls you'll be traveling with have never been to Walt Disney World, they might want to pick up a t-shirt or some other small souvenir in each of the four Disney theme parks.  If this is the case, they'll each want to have a minimum of $120 to spend.  You can get a nice t-shirt in each of the parks for $25-$30.

However, if the girls would be content with one really nice souvenir from their entire vacation, they would probably be fine to have a total of $80-100 each.  They'll certainly be able to find something delightful as you explore the World of Disney store at Downtown Disney.

Happy shopping, and let us know if you need any additional advice as you plan your first magical trip to Walt Disney World!
