Hi Gregory,
Welcome to planDisney!
Sorry to hear that you’re not having success creating your
Disney Park Pass reservations. This is a separate and necessary part of the process in order to access the Theme Parks, but once you do it, you’ll be that much closer to the
World’s Most Magical Celebration!
When I’m not finding Park availability immediately, I tend to check the
Theme Park Reservation Calendar more often because Theme Park availability may change at any time due to cancellations, so there's definitely hope!
I’ll give you a step by step on how I normally check for and get reservations. First, I like to do it from a laptop because it’s a bigger screen than my phone, just my personal preference! Once I sign into My Disney Experience, I open up a tab with the
Theme Park Reservation Calendar and choose “Theme Park Tickets” to see that corresponding calendar. Then I press the arrows to the month I’ll be at the Resort, in your case July. Once there you’ll either see green, yellow, or gray for each date. If it’s green or yellow, that means that all or some of the Theme Parks are still available. If July 16th is green, that means you should be able to book your
Disney’s Hollywood Studios reservations!
While you have the calendar up, in a different tab, you can go to your My Disney Experience account and make your reservations via the
Disney Park Pass page. Under “Make a Park Reservation”, make sure choose “Theme Park Tickets”.
As long as your party’s tickets are linked, you should be able to make those Disney Park Pass reservations. Since your vacation is later this summer, now is the perfect time to book your reservations! If you need further guidance, you can always reach out to the
My Disney Experience and MagicBands help desk.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” helps you in your reservation process which will lead to a magical vacation. If you have any other vacation or planning questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
