Hi Lawrence,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Celebrating a birthday while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season is just about as magical as it gets! All of the Parks and Resorts are festively decorated and overflowing with the spirit of the holiday season; just perfect for your special celebration!
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom Park is my favorite seasonal offering at the Walt Disney World Resort. The "snow" falling on Main Street, U.S.A., Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, and Holiday Wishes fireworks are guaranteed to make your holiday celebration unforgettable!
I suggest relaxing at your Resort Hotel during the day. You want to be fully rested so that you can enjoy the Attractions and Entertainment that are open until midnight only for Guests attending the Party. The official start time of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party each night is 7:00 P.M. In the past guests have been allowed early entry at 4:00 P.M., however, this is not guaranteed. Be sure to pick up the Times Guide when you arrive at the
Magic Kingdom Park; there you will find a listing of Attractions that are open during the Party, a schedule of events, and a map of areas where you can receive complimentary hot cocoa and cookies.
I recommend enjoying Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade, Holiday Wishes fireworks show, A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas!, and then enjoying the rest of the evening riding Attractions.
Don't forget to pick up a complimentary 'I'm Celebrating' button from any Guest Services. Your little one will feel so special when they receive Happy Birthday wishes from Cast Members & Guests during your visit!
Wishing You A Magical Visit,
Susan
