I am spending the first night of my trip at the Wyndham Garden Disney Springs and the rest of my trip at Saratoga Springs. Would I be able to checkout of the Wyndham and walk to the Saratoga through Disney Springs with my luggage?

Hiya, Kristen! Thanks for stopping by planDisney! I’m happy to be your guide and help you map out a magical vacation at Walt Disney World.

You can indeed walk from the Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista to Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa. I looked up the directions on the My Disney Experience mobile app. I simply searched “Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista,” selected “Get Directions” on the hotel page, and then chose Saratoga Springs as the destination. Not only did the app show me step-by-step walking directions and travel times (currently 23 minutes from one hotel to the other), but it also shows that you could get to Saratoga Springs using complimentary bus service (41 minutes) or water taxi (40 minutes) from Disney Springs.

It’s worth noting that you can’t bring luggage on Disney buses or water taxis. So unless you’d like to book a Minnie Van or other ride-share option, a quick walk through Disney Springs will be your best option.

There are a lot of great reasons to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, but my current favorite is the water park perk. Guests of Walt Disney World Resort hotels can enjoy complimentary water park admissions in 2025 and summer 2026. Depending on when you’ll be staying at Walt Disney World, you may want to make plans for some relaxing time on a lazy river after you’re done resort hopping. You'll have earned it!

I hope this information helps with your vacation planning, Kristen. Pop right back to planDisney if any other questions arise. We’re always happy to help!

    Magical travels!
