We are spending 5 days in WDW, then going on a cruise with a different company that is leaving in the afternoon from Port Carnival. Does WDW have any shuttles to the Port or will I need to use Magic Express to airport then catch a private shuttle?

    Michael, Michael, Michael...

As the Disney Cruise Line Mom, I have to give you a little friendly "ribbing" for not choosing Disney Cruise Line (DCL) for your sea voyage.  You're going to be more than slightly green with envy if your ship is in a port the same time Mickey's ship is there. Yet, maybe next time you'll book with DCL? There really is nothing like bringing along all that pixie dust on a magical ship. Truly, no one does it better for families!

Okay...lecture over.  Disney Cruise Line Ground Transportation is for Disney guests only since it only goes to the Disney Cruise Line terminal. Yet, don't fret...I've got an idea for you. Instead of backtracking to the airport, consider calling a private car company or renting a car.  The company which provides service for DCL ground transportation is Mears, and they have several private transportation options available. In addition, our family's favorite in the area is Bish from Golden Touch Limousine Service. Should you want to book him ahead of time, you can call him at 321-228-5990. Also, there are several rental car companies near the Walt Disney World resort which you can arrange to have the car delivered to you, and you can turn it in at or near the port.

I hope this helps you plan and should you decide to book a Disney cruise -- I'll be ready with more "mom-next-door" advice.  Thanks for being a good sport by taking my teasing! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
