Hello Melissa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Experiencing a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with 3 generations of your family sounds like an Endlessly Magical Experience. While I have convinced my children's grandparents to join us for an upcoming
Disney Cruise in August, they are hesitant to join us on our post-Cruise stay at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I think my eagerness and obsession with all things Walt Disney World Resort kind of scares them a little bit.
Out of all of the planning tips and ease that is provided to parents of young children by
Complimentary Resort Transportation, the trickiest element of accessing the Theme Parks is transporting all of the necessary extras when traveling with kids (strollers, essentials, etc).
The
Express Transportation Option when Park Hopping between Theme Parks eases each transition. When using the Express Transportation, you are removing 2 extra steps to the Park Hopping experience: Ticket Gates and Security Clearance. Depending on the issue of cost ($19 for single day use per Guest, or $29 for up to 7 consecutive days per Guest), you are maximizing your time and cutting out a lot of hassle.
Before the Express Transportation was offered, we used Park Hopper by visiting 1 Theme Park in the morning (usually with
Morning Extra Magic Hours), returned to our Walt Disney World Resort Hotel for a midday break and then visited a different Theme Park in the evening.
Happy Hopping!
