We will be spending 12 days at Fort wilderness and plan on visiting WDW(of course), Sea world, Legoland, and Kennedy Space Center. How many days should we plan to spend at WDW to get the whole experience. We will have Park hopper tickets

    Hi, Philip!

Walt Disney World is practically endless, so you could spend ALL twelve days of your vacation right at WDW and still not get it all done!  Theme parks, water parks, golf, dining, and shopping, the list goes on and on!

But let's get a plan together for you that will work.  I would plan on 6 days in the theme parks.  One day each at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom and 2 full days for each Magic Kingdom and Epcot.  Since you have park hopper tickets, feel free to switch parks mid-day if you have a dining reservation or plans to watch fireworks or parades in a different park.

Plan for some nice table service meals.  Mix it up with some character dining (Chef Mickey's at Contemporary), signature dining (Le Cellier at Epcot), and simply fun dining (50's Prime Time Cafe in Hollywood Studios).  This is a great way to get to visit some resorts as well as enjoy dining in the parks.

Spend half a day resort hopping.  Head to the Yacht and Beach Club and have lunch at Beaches and Cream Soda Shop (no reservations needed).  Check out the resorts and stroll the Boardwalk.  That evening, go to the Polynesian for dinner at the Kona Cafe (reservations accepted) then watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the beach. Take a trip around the Seven Seas lagoon on the monorail and visit the Contemporary and the Grand Floridian.  This is a super fun way to spend an evening.

Schedule some time to enjoy all the activities at Fort Wilderness including the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue dinner show, catch a movie under the stars, and go to the Chip and Dale Sing Along and Campfire one night.

You will definitely fill up your twelve days, so plan ahead with dining reservations and make a list of "must do" activities so you can squeeze it all in.  Let us know if you need dining suggestions, we are happy to help.  Have fun planning your magical WDW vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
