We're spending 6 days at DW, 3 off property & 3 on. Are our Magic Bands our tickets for all 6 days or just the 3 when we're staying on property? If just the 3 on-property, how do we get our physical tix for the other 3 days?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jillian! Thank you for bringing us such a great question!

You should not have a problem having all your tickets linked to your MagicBand even if you are not staying in a Disney Resort the entire time. If the first portion of your stay will be spent on property, you should not need to link the tickets for the last three days to a card.

If you will be staying in a Disney Resort during the back end of your stay, you have a few options. Since you will not receive your complimentary MagicBands until later, you may purchase a separate MagicBand and request for your tickets to be added to it, you may bring a MagicBand from a previous stay (you can check which ones are active on your My Disney Experience account) and ask for those tickets to be linked to that MagicBand OR you may simply request for those tickets (for the first three days) to be added to a physical admission card.

Jillian, I hope this information helps. Remember you can come to visit us anytime with more questions about your vacation at Walt Disney World.

Meet the Panelist: Desiree, Peru

Hi! I'm Desiree from Lima, Peru. My family will never ever tire of visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth, even if means traveling almost 3,000 miles to do so! My husband and I love to watch the fireworks with our kids, but the best magic happens when the grandparents come along and we all feel the same age in front of Cinderella Castle! I love giving tips about different types of resorts and traveling with multigenerational groups.
