We will be spending 11 days at Disneyworld - Dec. 16 through Dec. 26. Our 1st day there we are getting in for Mickey's Magic Christmas, all other days through a 10 day pass. We also have the 10 day mealplan. Can we use the mealplan on our first day, too

    Hi Julie,

Wow!!  Eleven days at Walt Disney World sounds like a perfect vacation!

Your meal plan will be available to you as soon as you check in to your resort.  The ten credits can be used in any combination that works for your family.  In other words, if you are arriving early on the first day of your vacation and choose to eat lunch at a table service restaurant and dinner at a signature dining location (these meals use 2 credits), you will have used up 3 of your 10 credits on day 1.

Likewise, you may choose to eat at a counter service restaurant on the first day, leaving you with 10 table service credits for the remainder of your vacation.  If it sounds complicated, it really isn't. Once you start using the plan it will make perfect sense.

Your credits are good until midnight on the day you check out of your resort.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
