Spending 3 days at Disney World and 4 nights at a resort. We've paid off the balance owed, but would like to add some gift cards we've received to help pay for things we plan on charging to the account later. Is that possible? If so how?

    Hi, Dustin!

That is great you not only paid your vacation in full, but are saving for extra expenses. Impressive!

You will not be able to pay ahead for a future balance on your account. What you can do is put a credit card on file that will allow you to charge onto your MagicBand.  Then, you can go to the front desk during your stay and pay your balance off with the gift cards. By doing it this way, you get the convenience of charging to your MagicBands and still get to use your gift cards.

If you prefer not to have to go to the front desk, you can simply keep your gift cards with you and pay as you go using them.  Whatever you find to be more convenient.

Enjoy your magical vacation in Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
