    Spending day at MK with 5:45 ADR at Jiko (AKL). Staying at SSR. Should we rent a car for this day, bus hop, or take a taxi to/from Jiko? Will be traveling with 4 adults and 2 kids, ages 7 and 15 months. We can travel separately (2 adults + 2 adults 2 kids)

    I wouldn't recommend renting a car for a single day just to facilitate transportation to and from your dining reservation, Kim.  That would be a lot of hassle.  It would certainly be easier to take a taxi.  Assuming you want to use the taxi to get from your home resort to Animal Kingdom Lodge and then back again after your meal, you should expect to pay right around $40 for the cab fare.  Taking the bus would increase your travel time.  Since you are traveling with a wee one, you might find that the taxi fare is worth saving the time and headache.  It's probably what I would opt to do in your shoes.  I hope that helps!
