We will be spending the day at Epcot, and having dinner in the evening at Disney Springs. Is there water transportation from Epcot to Disney Springs?

    Hi Kristi,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. That sounds like an awesome day. My family has loved Epcot for years, and we're thrilled with all the new restaurants, shopping and entertainment at the re-imagined Disney Springs. You're going to have a blast!

Water transportation is not available from Epcot to Disney Springs. The water taxis that depart from the International Gateway area of Epcot make stops only at Boardwalk, the Yacht Club and Beach Club resorts, the Swan and Dolphin resorts and Hollywood Studios.

You won't have any trouble getting to Disney Springs, however. All four Walt Disney World theme parks recently started direct bus service to Disney Springs beginning at 4 p.m. daily. If, at the end of your Epcot time, you are in the World Showcase and don't want to go back to the front entrance to catch the bus, you also have the option of exiting via the International Gateway (between France and the United Kingdom) and walking to Boardwalk for Disney Springs bus transportation.

I hope you have a wonderful dinner at Disney Springs whether you're trying a new spot such as Frontera Cocina, Chef Art Smith's Homecoming or STK Orlando or one of the long-time favorites like Raglan Road or Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe.

    Enjoy!
