After spending the day @Animal Kingdom, we plan on doing the 6:45 p.m. Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage at the Contemporary Resort. Approximately how much time should we allow to get there?

    Hi Joseph!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You have an exciting day planned!  After your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park you can take a Disney bus directly to Disney's Contemporary Resort for your Pirates & Pals Fireworks Dessert VoyageBuses typically run every 20 minutes, and it is recommended that you allow 60-90 minutes for your entire journey, including waiting times at the bus stops and walking to/from your destination.   I would probably leave Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park at around 5.15pm to allow adequate time.  You don't want to be late for your Fireworks Voyage!

If you are having the time of your life at the theme park and don't want to waste a moment, you could always consider using the Minnie Van Service.  These vehicles accommodate up to 6 Guests, are driven by friendly and knowledgeable Disney Cast Members and would add a magical experience to your day.   You can order these by using the Lyft app on your smartphone, which will also display the cost of using this service.  Regular taxis are always readily available at the entrance to the theme parks too.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World, and keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news and updates on any events that may be happening during your stay.
