Spending the day at AK then reservations at Boma at 5:45... AK closes at 5 this day. Will we be done early enough to go back to Pop Century for a rest then head back out to Boma? All day + Boma would be too much for my kids. OR just eat lunch at Yak&Ye

    Hi Becky:

If you plan to stay at Animal Kingdom until Park closing, and you are relying on Disney transportation, you definitely will not have time to head back to Pop Century for a rest and head to Animal Kingdom Lodge to enjoy your 5:45pm Boma reservation.  Even if you plan to use your own car, you'll be cutting it close and leaving no time to rest.

However, many families, including my own, do not need to spend the full day at Animal Kingdom to enjoy the rides and attractions at the Park.  If you get to the Park at or close to opening and leave at around 2:30pm, it's likely you can take in more than enough activities to feel you really took advantage of most of what the Park has to offer.  You can then make it back to your Resort to rest and then head to your dinner reservation at Boma.

    Enjoy your vacation.
