We are spending Christmas at Walt Disney World, will it be warm enough to swim in the resort pools?

Hello Denise!  How exciting you are going to be at Walt Disney World over Christmas, I am too.

Last Christmas, I was also at Walt Disney World and the temperatures varied a lot during the week. Some days were cold enough to wear jeans and sweatshirts and then other days were very warm. Central Florida's average high temperature on Christmas day is 82 degrees and the average low temperature is 63 degrees.  All of the pools at the Walt Disney World Resorts are heated 82 degrees throughout the year.  I would say there is a great possibility you will be able to swim at least a few days during your vacation.

If you have any other questions, I'd love for you to come back and ask me.  Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
