Spending 3/31-4/3 actually in the parks. Disappointed to see no extra magic hours during that time for either Hollywood Studios or AK, especially after reading about EXTRA-Extra Magic Hours... Is it possible the scheduled magic hours will change? How often

    Hi Leisha,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing this great question to us!

I love that you are considering Extra Magic Hours while making your plans. Although I cannot say for certain if the park hours for the dates of your visit will change, I can say do not lose hope! One year, when I initially planned a trip, Disney's Hollywood Studios had no early morning Extra Magic Hours scheduled when I made our advanced dining reservations six months prior to our trip. About a month before our visit, I checked again and they had them posted!

In the meantime, there are other ways you can add a little extra magic to your trip. We love to do pre-park opening breakfast reservations at Hollywood & Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios and Tusker House Restaurant at Disney's Animal Kingdom. On our last visit, we finished our breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant before the park officially opened and headed to Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain. We jumped in the standby line and were able to ride it before our officially scheduled FastPass+ selection so we rode it twice!

As you make your plans for Disney's Hollywood Studios, remember to schedule some time in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. We just returned from Batuu and it was amazing! As it gets closer to the dates of your visit, double-check the boarding group process for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. On our last visit, we arrived prior to park opening on two separate days. On one day, the process worked well and we were able to board with group 38. On another day, three members of our party were not registering as in the park through the My Disney Experience Mobile App, so we had to enlist the help of a Cast Member and got boarding group 101. A 10-minute difference in registering for a boarding group meant that on one day we boarded the attraction by 10:00 a.m. and on another day, by 8:30 p.m.

Leisha, keep an eye on those park hours. May the Force be with you as you plan!

    Magic and memories,
