We spend the winter in Florida and would like to visit EPCOT for one day in December and see the Candlelight Procession. Is it possible to to do this and get a Candlelight/Dinner package?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Jim!

Up here in Pennsylvania, spending the winter in Florida is definitely on my to-do list. You've made such great plans!

To make those plans even more magical, you can surely get a one day theme park ticket to EPCOT in December, and book a Candlelight Processional Dining Package. It's sure to be a highlight of your season. I know it always is for me!

First, take a look at all of the offerings at EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. As you decide which activities are your must-do experiences, you can craft that perfect day to get you right into the holiday spirit. Build your plans around that Candlelight Processional Package, keeping in mind your top choices for dining. When reservations become available, you'll know just which to pick. Jim, my favorite way to experience Candlelight Processional is through a Dining Package. You get to enjoy an outstanding meal knowing that your seats for this most moving performance have already been reserved. Now that's truly magical!

While soaking up the holiday happenings, Jim, be sure to take pics surrounded by seasonal decor you'll only find at this time of year. Make time to tour World Showcase to experience traditions that are unique in each country. (We've got a pickle on our Christmas tree that started a family tradition when my kids were little. So much fun!) Try the Holiday Cookie Stroll and, of course, sneak in a visit with Santa Claus. This is the perfect place to launch into the holiday spirit in just one very special day!

Jim, specific details for this particular festival are typically released the summer prior, so keep your eye on the Walt Disney World website. Although experiences and offerings change from time to time, I like to look at a prior year's details to begin planning what I want to see during my next visit, if offered. As always, Disney Parks Blog featured a fantastic article on the 2025 festival, so take a look and see what might be coming this year, too!

As you continue to craft your holiday visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
