If you were going to spend a whole day at MK and wanted to go outside MK for a sit down dinner but no place far (need to get back for fireworks) where would you go? We are a family of 4 with a preschooler and a teen.

    Hi Nancy!

Sounds like you are planning a wonderful way to end an action packed day. You won't have to go far for a nice sit down meal and be able to return to the Magic Kingdom for fireworks. There are several fabulous options in the resorts along the Resort Monorail Line.

We love 'Ohana at the Polynesian Resort. Its served family style with so many incredible dishes. Just make sure you save room for the Bread Pudding for dessert. Your preschooler will enjoy the games and other activities they have during dinner.

Another one of our favorites is Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian Resort. This food is outstanding and we love the view overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon.

The Wave at the Contemporary Resort is great if your teen is a little adventurous. Take a look at their dinner menu before making a decision.

There are also a couple of character meals if you're interested in a buffet: Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary and Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian.

Reservations for all of these can be made beginning 180 days prior to your trip through the links shown above or by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

Please feel free to keep the questions coming. We're hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
