We will spend two days in Epcot. We plan to do Garden Grill, but I need help on the other meal. Last trip we did Tepan and Askerhaus, so I was thinking Via Napoli or Coral Reef. Any suggestions on which would be better for 10, 8 and 5 year old kids.

    Hello Abby,

I absolutely love dining at Epcot. That is probably my favorite thing to do there besides Soarin' and Test Track! You have chosen some pretty great options to consider, so I am going to offer my opinion on both and also suggest a third option to choose from. Then, you can make an educated decision based on your family's preferences.

Via Napoli has fabulous food. The quality and service are absolutely amazing. We dined there for the first time this past summer and it was hands down some of the best pizza we've ever had (and my husband is from New Jersey). The one drawback for me was it was rather loud, which could be a plus or minus depending on your family. But, it was hard to carry on a conversation, in my opinion. I will also say that my kids weren't as entertained by the atmosphere as they might be at some place like Coral Reef.

Speaking of Coral Reef, it is a very unique dining experience. I don't think I've ever been someplace else to eat with that many marine life to look at and enjoy while also eating my meal. The food is pretty good, but there are other seafood restaurants that I would choose above this one. One thing my kids like to do here is play "I spy" while we wait for our meals. It is a great way to see some really interesting sea life up close and personal like that.

Lastly, I'm going to suggest an entirely different location to consider. Biergarten in the Germany Pavilion is my family's must-do each and every trip. The kids ask for it each trip which is why it has become such a tradition for us. The food is hearty and really delicious and offers lots of classic German food such as schnitzel, spaetzle, bratwurst and, my favorite, black forest cake. In addition to the scrumptious food, there is a Bavarian band that entertains with traditional German tunes. Guests can even join in on the dance floor.

I hope you have a wonderful time in Epcot!
