Hey there, Patricio! Welcome to planDisney! I’m glad you swung by with this great question!
As the non-golfer in my family, but with a brother who’s great at the game, I’ve picked up more golf knowledge lately than I ever expected! I asked him a while back, “Doesn’t it get boring playing the same course all the time?” He looked at me like I’d missed an easy putt and said, “Nope! They change the course layout and hole positions all the time, so it always feels different.” I honestly had no clue!
I gave
Walt Disney World Golf a call to make sure I had the latest information for you, and I was able to confirm that there are two driving ranges available: one at
Disney’s Magnolia Golf Course and one at
Disney’s Palm Golf Course. No reservations are needed, which is nice, because you can decide day of if the mood strikes! The Cast Member I spoke with did recommend calling the day of your visit at (407) WDW-GOLF to check for any temporary maintenance closures before you tee off.
They offer both natural grass and mat hitting areas, and they rotate between them depending on maintenance, weather, and time of day. A quick call ahead will help make sure you’re driving straight into the fun!
Currently, a bucket of balls costs $12 and includes around 65 to 75 balls. And if you aren’t traveling with your clubs, no worries! They have club rentals and rental shoes available, so you can keep your packing out of the rough.
Patricio, I hope you have a par-fect day on the greens at Walt Disney World, right there at the Happiest Place on Turf!
Please putt any more questions our way as your magical countdown continues!
Kimberly
