I am going to spend New Year´s in WDW and would like to know 2 things: 1. Is it true that there are a million people doing the same? I mean is it really that busy during this time of the year? 2. Where is the best place to spend New Year´s Eve?

It is true that Walt Disney World is a favorite destination for many people wanting to celebrate New Years Eve!  The lines for the attractions will be quite long and your dining choices will fill up quickly so it is important to get advanced dining reservations for your vacation and especially for New Years Eve.

If you have small children your best bet to ring in the new year will be the Magic Kingdom.  If you have older children or just adults I suggest EPCOT.  Both parks will fill to capacity and once that happens you will not be allowed to enter so be sure and get there early. The fireworks shows at both are outstanding and even though you will stand among many to watch it is a great and fun experience.  My family was in EPCOT during the Millennium celebration and even though at times it was impossible to walk it was something we will never forget!
