We'll spend the day at Magic Kingdom on Aug. 20 and we also booked the "pirates and pals Fireworks Voyag" at 8:45PM. From the panel, I learned that we would be able to see the fireworks and EWP at the MK. Is the Pirates and Pals tour worth the mo

    Ahoy there Li!

Yes indeed - the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage is totally worth the money!  I've recommended this special experience to a lot of Guests and everyone has loved it.  I just sailed in May & have already booked again for Aug - its awesome fun from beginning to end.

There are so many things I love about this experience but one of the big bonuses for families with small children is that you are far enough away from the fireworks that you don't hear the big booms that you hear when watching inside the MK. The music on board the boat is synchronized to the fireworks just like in the MK. You also have the advantage of not being in a sea of people watching the fireworks but comfortably seated with a great view. You don't have to fight the crowds afterwards either. This is a perfect thing to do on the first night you arrive or on a day when you've planned some low key activities.

Its not guaranteed that you'll see the Electrical Water Pageant - it just depends on the time that the fireworks are held at the Magic Kingdom which dictates the time of the P&P Fireworks Voyage. I've heard (can't confirm) that your chances of seeing the EWP parade during your voyage are greater if the fireworks are scheduled for 9 p.m. or later at the Magic Kingdom.
