Hi Mariana,
My family spent last Christmas and New Year at Walt Disney World and we had an amazing time! The parks seem even more magical (if thats possible) when they are decorated for the holidays.
The
Candlelight Processional will be held at the American Gardens Theatre in Epcot nightly from 25 November 2011 - 30 December 2011.
The event which retells the stirring story of Christmas with a special
celebrity narrator accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and a mass
choir is extremely popular and I would highly recommend that you make an advanced dining reservation for a
Candlelight Dinner Package to ensure that you get a seat for the performance.
Although dining packages for the 2011 holiday season will not be
available until July 2011, you can find out more information about the
event
HERE as well as the various dining options available
HERE.
In 2010, three shows took place each night at 5pm, 6.45pm and 8.15pm and
I would expect to see a similar pattern for this year once full details
have been released.
The VIP standing only viewing area is located in Showcase Plaza, near the
entrance to the World Showcase coming from Future World. Watching IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth from here was probably the best view of the show that I have ever had and better still required
no time spent staking out a good spot and then waiting for the show to
start.
My family experienced the Candlelight Processional on Christmas Eve and it really captured the spirit of the season
perfectly.
Wishing you a magical trip!
