Spectator questions - Star Wars Half Marathon in April at WDW. What are the host resorts? Will it be possible to take a cab to the ESPN WWofS if I'm not at a host resort? Also, is it worth it to pay for the ChEAR squad to get seating at the finish l

    Hi Christi!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Good news!  During Star Wars Half Marathon - The Dark Side weekend, ALL of the Walt Disney World Resorts will offer complimentary bus transportation to and from race weekend events.  So, no worries!  Pick your favorite resort.

As for the chEAR squad, I do think it's a good deal to guarantee priority seating at the finish area.  You will have the best spot to see your runner.  It's especially convenient if your runner is in the front to middle of the pack.  Generally, seats will open up later in the race as many runners have finished and the last half of the athletes arrive.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
