Do I specifically need to have an ice pack or cooler for sandwiches with meat on them if I want to be able to take them in the park?

Welcome to planDisney, Christina! I'm always so glad to answer a question from a fellow Texan. You're visiting Walt Disney World Resort at one of my favorite times of the year because the January weather is so beautiful and your trip coincides with the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts! There are so many fun photo opportunities and artful celebrations, so I definitely recommend grabbing a Disney Park Pass reservation for EPCOT for at least one day to enjoy the festival.

I love Disney food, but sometimes it's just easier to pack your lunch and eat on the go so you can spend all the time you have riding all of your favorite attractions. If you're packing your own sandwiches and you want to keep them cool, you're more than welcome to bring an ice pack or cooler with you into the Theme Parks. Your cooler needs to be smaller than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high, and you cannot have any loose ice so reusable ice packs are recommended based on the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules. Lockers are available at all four Theme Parks if you don't want to carry your cooler with you all day. You can rent a locker and leave your chilled food in there while you enjoy your day, and store your cooler once you're done!

    Have a magical day, Christina!
