Mamie, welcome to planDisney!
I am excited to share that Pin Trading is still taking place throughout Walt Disney World Resort! It looks slightly different from your previous pin trading experiences to help keep Cast Members and Guests healthy and safe. While you are currently unable to trade face-to-face with a Cast Member, there are Pin Boards set up in various locations. These locations can and do change from time to time. I think trying to spot out a pin trading station is part of the fun! The kids get a kick out of being the first to spot one. If you see a pin you would like, you put your pin you are trading away in a provided container to be sanitized for another guest to discover later. Then, you can take the one you would like from the board. Be sure to make a stop at
Disney's Pin Traders located at
Disney Springs to stock up on pins or even to see what may be out there for you to discover!
If you enjoy collecting pins, you may also like the
Coin Press Machines! There is a map showing you all the locations. My children still have their precious Walt Disney World pressed coins they have collected over the last 12 years. You can also find souvenir books to keep your precious metals at multiple
gift shops. We have been able to purchase uncirculated coins at our local coin shop before our trip so our treasures really sparkle and shine!
Have a magical day, Mamie!
