Hola, Brett, and welcome to planDisney!
I think you'll just love hanging your mouse ears at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. With picturesque views of Lago Dorado,
incredible dining options, and such a fun blend of Spanish, Mexican, and Southwest theming, it often feels like a Deluxe Disney Resort hotel with the pricing of a moderate.
When staying at Disney's Coronado Springs, you'll have the option of booking a room in the Village or the Gran Destino Tower. Since the Village covers such a large area, Preferred Rooms are quite desirable as they are conveniently located near the Resort's lobby, dining, and shopping offerings. If you do choose to book a Preferred Room, you'll be assigned a room in the Casitas - Buildings 1, 2, or 3.
I've been fortunate enough to call Coronado Springs my magical home away from home during a previous vacation, and I loved kicking off my days with a lap or two around the scenic running trail and grabbing an iced coffee from
Cafe Rix before heading to the theme parks.
Oh, and since you'll be using
Walt Disney World's complimentary bus service during your vacation, I wanted to provide one final tip before you go. You can conveniently monitor bus arrival times in the My Disney Experience app, where you'll view your hotel reservation. I found this especially helpful in determining how quickly I needed to leave my room each morning.
I hope this helps, Brett, and that you have an incredible time in The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you need further assistance, don't hesitate to come see us again at
planDisney. You've got a friend in us!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
