Welcome to planDisney
foolish mortal, I mean, Nichole!
When the crypt doors creak and the tombstones quake, you know you're experiencing the
Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World Resort. When you hear the sound of the grave diggers' shovels scraping the pavement along Main Street, U.S.A., you know you're witnessing
Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade during
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. You can experience both on the same day on select dates in Magic Kingdom Park from August 11 through November 1.
As a Guest staying at the Walt Disney World Swan in October, I purchased my Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket on April 27, which was the first day they were available. I'm a night owl and risked turning into a pumpkin by staying up til midnight. My risk led to a great reward as the link to purchase tickets became available shortly after 12:00 a.m. EST. This experience tells me you should expect Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets for all Guests to become available at 12:00 a.m. EST on May 2. The first dates to fill up will likely be August 11 (the first party of the season) and October 31 (Halloween). Fridays in October are also quite popular. If you are not a night owl and you are not booking a party for one of the more popular party dates, you should be safe waiting until the morning to purchase your party tickets.
Before purchasing your park tickets, log into your My Disney Experience account and make sure everyone in your party appears on your
Family & Friends List. During the purchase process, you'll be asked to link each ticket to a member of that list. Soon after purchasing your tickets, you'll receive an email confirmation. Your party ticket will also be visible on the
Tickets, Passes, and Memory Maker tab of your My Disney Experience account. No theme park reservation is required to enter Magic Kingdom Park after 4:00 p.m. on your party date.
As the moon climbs high o'er the dead oak tree, spooks arrive for the midnight spree. Enjoy your midnight shopping spree, Nichole, and be sure to follow planDisney on Instagram and/or Twitter as panelists share our top tips for maximizing the magic during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Hurry back,
