Hi, Kathi! Welcome to planDisney!
I am so glad that you found us here; we love to help guests find just the right fit for their
Walt Disney World travels. Let's look at options for yours!
There are a few ways to check room type availability at Walt Disney World hotels. If you have specific dates in mind, head to that WDW homepage linked above, and enter your dates in the Build Your Vacation area near the top left. Include the number of guests and then filter by resort if you have a particular one in mind. For example, I selected a week in September for a party of 4--two adults and two children--then chose
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and found which room types are available and which are not. From Water View Rooms that sleep five to Club Level Suites, if you know what you're looking for, this will help you find it.
In most cases, availability listed may be due to the number of people in your group or if that room type is fully booked for those dates selected. Adjust either and your results will change accordingly. So easy!
If you'd like a particular room type, but have not yet landed on the perfect hotel for your stay, you can also select
View All Disney Accommodations under the Places to Stay tab. There, you'll find filters that can narrow down your options by price point, location, category, and characteristics. Many of the room types available at Disney hotels are offered across all hotels in that category, so a stay at a different location may be an unexpected new favorite.
Another option is to contact the
Disney Help Center. There, a Cast Member can help advise you on availability of that particular room type, too.
Kathi, I'm sending boatloads of pixie dust your way so that you'll find the perfect place to call home during your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! As you plan, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
