Are there any specific events or decorations at the hotels during the month of December. If so where can I find out what is going on, where and when.

    Hello, Sandy,

Walt Disney World over the holidays is such a magical time with all of the festive decorations throughout all of the parks and resorts.  In fact, all of the resorts will have holiday decorations.  However, my favorites are the deluxe resorts.  Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has a stunning tree that fills the lobby as well as a life-size gingerbread house. You may even find chestnuts roasting outside the entrance of the resort and strolling carolers. Both Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge have jaw-dropping trees in their lobbies that reflect the designs of the resorts. Disney's Beach Club Resort traditionally has an actual spinning chocolate carousel while its neighbor Disney's Yacht Club Resort has a miniature train moving through all sorts of holiday goodies and sweets. Also, Disney's Contemporary Resort has been creating a 17 foot tall gingerbread tree in past years, too.

You are welcome to visit any of the resorts to enjoy the decorations. However, if there are any special events those aren't generally posted online. You might find that visiting the Disney Parks Blog helpful as there could be a few holiday events happening at the resorts that are shared beforehand.
