Are there any special "treats" I can get the AKL to have waiting for my kids when we get there; such as Mickey ears? Also, will we get our tickets to the parks when we check in at AKL? Thanks! This panel is a God-send!

The Disney Floral and Gift Basket Department ( has a large selection of goodies, including Mickey ears, you could order as a special treat for them. You could have these available for pickup at the front desk as you check in, or you could have them delivered to the room shortly after you arrive. If the website doesn't have exactly what you had in mind for your treat, then give them a call at 407-827-3505. The amazing cast members there would be happy to help you dream up a custom gift.

If you have purchased a Disney vacation package, then yes, your park tickets will be ready for you when you check in. Actually, your park tickets will probably be added right to your room key (Key to the World Card) so you'll only have one card to carry around. If you're not on a package, then you can purchase tickets right at your hotel front desk as well.
