Hi M. Welcome to planDisney with your
Once Upon A Time question.
I'm so happy you've stopped by so I can be part of your fairytale story. Let me first say happy 20th anniversary! What a wonderful milestone to celebrate!
Okay, it looks like you're arriving TODAY! We have no time to waste. With a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo, I'm calling in Cinderella (because she's a real
shoe-in for everyone's favorite princess) and her Fairy Godmother. After all, we need some quick magic!
Staying at Disney's Coronado Springs is a fantastic choice. I stayed there myself last fall and loved everything it had to offer. You'll find some great dining right in your hotel that would be extra special. I can't say enough wonderful things about
Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood. The setting is perfect for an anniversary celebration, and the food is simply amazing! My favorite entree was the Rioja-braised chicken! And trust me when I say--try the Brussels sprouts! They are popular for a reason! Also, visit
Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago one evening if you have time. It is beautiful on the water at night. I see there is also
current availability at extra magical restaurants like
Be Our Guest Restaurant, California Grill, and
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White.
There are several options in the
Enchanting Extras Collection currently available to be
bibbidi bobbidi booked or available as a walk-up. One option is a
hot air balloon experience at Disney Springs, and there is also limited availability for a
horse-drawn carriage ride at Disney's Fort Wilderness.
My most magical recommendation for the ultimate anniversary celebration, which happens to be my husband's and my favorite, is the
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Post-Party. At the time I am writing this, there is still availability for this event. It offers a reserved spot in front of Cinderella Castle to watch the fireworks show, "Happily Ever After," followed by a delicious and magical dessert party. It's Fairy Godmother magic at its finest! Additionally, consider ordering a
Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake!No matter what you find that makes your celebration special this weekend, be sure to stop by any merchandise location or Guest Services and ask for a complimentary celebration button. They have one specifically for anniversary celebrations, and this will allow Cast Members and other Guests, like me, to wish you well throughout your trip.
Thanks again for stopping by and allowing planDisney to help. It's been my honor! I'm wishing you magic that never ends. Enjoy your celebration!
Happily Ever After,
Shonette
