Hi Amy,
The
Tours & Special Experiences are among my favorite things to do at WDW! I come away feeling so knowledgeable.
The minimum age for tours that visit any of the backstage areas is 16 - that includes the utilidors. While seeing the utilidors may not be an option for all of you this visit, below are some super fun tours that you could all enjoy.
Disney's Family Magic Tour welcomes all ages. Its really cute but more suited for kids a little younger so I'm not sure how much your 13 & 16 year old would enjoy it.
Mickey's Magical Milestone Tour may be a good fit for your kids. You get to learn about the creation & career of Mickey, go on a few select attractions & maybe run into a few familiar faces.
If you have any train lovers in your family,
Disney's The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour is super cool!
The
Behind the Seeds Tour in The Land at Epcot is fun for those interested in any type of agriculture. It only lasts about an hour & is reasonably priced.
If you're all SCUBA certified, you could consider the
Epcot DiveQuest. Pretty cool to dive in the huge aquarium with all of the sea life. If you're not SCUBA certified but still would like to experience swimming with the fish, check out the
Seas Aqua Tour. This experience allows you to swim on top of the water.
You know your kids better than me but I would either go with
Mickey's Magical Milestone Tour or
The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains Tour.
Tours may be booked 180 days prior to your visit by calling 407-WDW-TOUR. I'm limited in space when answering but the link above offers details about each one. I am also happy to answer any other questions.
Wishing you many magical memories :-) Allison
