    Is the special ticketed VMCP the only time they have the parade with toy soldiers? Dont want to spend the extra $ on the event but hoping they have alternative holiday parade during the day on December.

    Hello April and thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with such a great question about your upcoming visit during the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort.
    What with all the Holiday happenings and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party taking place on select nights within the Magic Kingdom Park from November 8th until December 21st 2018 the festive winter months really are the most wonderful time of the yEar for a Disney trip!  
    Just like you I adore the extra magical Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade which not only takes place during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party nights but Guests also get to enjoy the jolly marching toy soldiers, dancing reindeer & of course wave to Santa Claus on his sleigh in the daily parade from December 22nd until December 31st 2018.
