Is there special seating for those in wheelchairs to watch the parade at Magic Kingdom? If so, where is it and how early should we be there before the parade?

    Welcome back, Mary!

You will find several areas along the parade route in Magic Kingdom Park that are designated for Guests with Disabilities. Usually, Cast Members begin roping off these areas about 30 minutes or so before the parade starts, and they are easily identified with a picture of a wheelchair on the banner. The areas where we often stand with my son, who uses a wheelchair stroller, is near The Hall of Presidents or across from City Hall near the park entrance. You will also find an area in front of Cinderella Castle. These designated view areas are filled first come, first served so plan to arrive early to secure a spot. Here is a downloadable Magic Kingdom Guide for Guests with Disabilities, which notes parade viewing areas, restroom locations as well as other information you might find helpful.
