    Is there a special safari ride and dinner at tusker house combanation for grand gatherings? and how long to get to the animal kindgom from the contemporary hotel.? Thanks

    Hi Rae,

    You are referring to the Safari Celebration Dinner Grand Gathering Experience. To reserve this, call 407-WDW-PLAN (407-939-7526). You must have a minimum of 8 Guests over the age of 3 in your party to make reservations.

    You'll want to plan on at least an hour to get from the Contemporary Resort to the Animal Kingdom Park. This is because the buses come approximately every 20 minutes and you never know if you just missed a bus (so will need to wait awhile) or if one is coming around the bend (so you'll be ahead of schedule). The Tusker House is located towards the back of the Park, so you need to factor that in as well.
